Why do Americans get upset about Jobs going overseas?
Why would Americans get angry about businesses going overseas? I have never heard anyone say they dream about having a career working in a call Center or Textile factory. The same goes for illegal immigrants. The jobs that are leaving the usa or taken by illegals are ones I would only take if i was desperate. I do not want to work in Factories, Construction sites, cleaning up after people, Nursing, medicine, agriculture, machine shops or fixing cars. If it was me and all the jobs were leaving the USA for China. I would simply pick up and move to China. it is dream for me to live and work in foreign nations. I would work in a sweat shop in China for free as long as i had housing just to have the opportunity to go to China and Its Communist paradise.

Troll. And if you think China is a paradise, you should go there. BTW they generally don't offer housing anymore--it's every person for him or herself. You also seem fairly ignorant about the jobs leaving--everything from unskilled to very highly skilled are included. And many people supported their entire families on textile jobs.

I think you should move to China. Not everyone thinks the way you do. We need manufacturing in this country. Only being consumers is not sustainable. We are proving that as we speak. There are a lot of desperate people in the U.S. Not enough jobs to go around, they need to feed their families.

The ironic thing is most American's love a good deal. No one will say, "Hey, this shirt was on sale for $20.00, but I gave them $30.00 'cause I liked it so much!" Yet that's what they want private corporations to do....

actually there are many careers in textiles that Americans go to college to get....engineering, chemistry, and all kinds of careers are associated with the outsourced jobs. Many Americans went to school to be machine operators that witnessed their jobs move overseas. Will you apply the same logic when Pharma-corporations start moving medicine manufacturing overseas that employs biologists, microbiologists, chemists and engineers? Will you say "Why do Americans get upset about Jobs going overseas? I have never heard anyone dream about having a career as a biologist, microbiologist or chemist." many of those jobs going overseas, that you claim you would only take if you were desperate, used to pay the American working class upwards of a good middle class income without having to have a masters degree.

Michael where did you get such stupid ideas! We need jobs here, and unlike you no one wants to go to China or any other foreign country and get a underpaying job and live in poverty. So I say leave the jobs here and adios to you!

Liberals are not after communisim like in China, but a bit more Socialism like in Franc, UK, Sweden Germany, Canada and Japan

When you have 7.8.9 and 10% unemployment because of outsourcing and GREED we get very upset. Look in any factory town that built America that is empty now and you will see. I would work in a Factory but I would also ask for a livable wage that the Company knows the sweat shops in Bangladesh will only ask for .50 a day. So it must be my fault for wanting to earn a wage that I can raise my kids on...

Good thing others are willing to bring your water to your home, tend your sewers, pick up your garbage, bring you power, make and fix your car, build your roads, plow them, pave them, make your toaster, iPod, make your shoes, make iron ore, steel, work in mines, build your apartment, and maintain it, plumb it , wire it, inspect it, paint it, build your bridges, weld things for your, and do all kinds of hot dirty nasty stuff that you wish to avoid,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,all for your personal benefit.
