I am a nurse. I work in health care. I can tell you they do not pay for abortions. I'VE seen this with my own eyes. I worked at a clinic. I studied the WHOLE laws of nursing and what pays for what. I did 30 hours a week of school and 200 question quizzes (almost everyday). I graduated nursing with a 4.0 grade average. Well mostly, Bush made us the hated country. First off Bush was putting out more pollution than china when he was in office. Then bush also got our country in debt not from the war but stupidity. All these people sign for expensive houses that was beyond their pay check. The bill later came back to Bush asking if he could allow banks to rip people off like this. What did Bush do he sign the paper. Then Bush also went to war in the middle east looking for Al Qaeda. We go on a goose chase for a group of people that are nomads. So Bush declares war on the middle east. So we go to war and we mess up their tajs. We messt up a country that been in it ways doing things for civilizations and civilizations. The way they eat, dress, look, all of that is based on their religion. Their whole day revolves around praying at noon. Their whole day revolves around eating certain foods. Their whole day revolves around wearing certain clothes. When they fast to pray for their God they wont even drink their spit. They get up and spit in the sink. Now, just because one group of people who live all over the world. Bush says I want to find them.Next thing you know we are at war. We knocked down their Tajs. We Americanized and took over a country that's older than us. The people who lived their whole life there, and the way their ancestors did is now destroyed. Their never going to be peace their now. You cant change a country culture that's been their since Jesus was born. It is a hornets nest that will never sleep. Why is everyone blaming the government shutting down on Obama? FIRST, off Obama did not shut it down congress did which is mostly republicans. The republicans do not want to give money to women who get cancer scans. They say these scans saved million peoples lives who had cancer. They are saying it is about abortions the clinics offer abortions but they still have to pay for the abortions. The clinic that gives feel visits of the gynecologist well not pay for abortions but they do offer it there. They do pay for birth control pills, and pap smears. This saves lives and the birth control helps save the country money. I think a ten dollar pills are way cheaper than the government paying for a kid till he is 18 years old. THEY DONT EVEN PAY FOR ABORTIONS AT THE CLINICS. I work in health care. I just wish everyone could see, if you cut this program the pregnancy rates will go up. So many people in poor areas need to be educated in health care. The planning parents helps teach and educate them. It also, helps them learn about diseases how they are spread. It gives care to women who have cancer. A young teen girl sometimes can not afford insurance. If she gets cancer is it fair that she does not have the chance to live? All because she was born into a poor family.

A Christian Republican would probably say yes. I am an Atheist Liberal and I say no. Quality healthcare should be available for everyone. Little Red Hen, you are not as smart as you think. Medicaid can help after you are diagnosed. If you have no insurance before you are diagnosed you won't have preventative care and early detection of your cancer which will greatly increase your chances of beating it.

I also work in health care and I can not justify the fact that we can deliver a baby at 21 weeks, and have it survive and grow up and yet permit abortion up to 30 weeks. People are blaming the Democrats for shutting down the government because they are arguing about the budget for the fiscal year 2011, which started October 1st, 2010. This budget should have been passed by last September, when the Democrats controlled everything.

She gets cancer. Millions of people die of cancer each year. Does that mean that I have to pay for it. Sounds cruel doesn't it. That's life. If I get cancer, I have health insurance. Virtually all the answers I read were disgusting, I hope this is not a representative sample of Americans because I don't want to believe such a vast population of Americans are so cruel and stupid. Don't they see that their comments are in the service of big pharma and big private healthcare? Why would a mother cat leave a kitten behind?
My cat had kittens about 3 days ago. It was a litter of five, and she's a relatively young and small cat. I live in an apartment, and the room she had them in gets kinda cold, so I go in and check on them, but really no one has bothered them. She doesn't stay in there with them a whole lot, so I always check to make sure they are cuddling and its not too cold in the room. Today I was sitting in the living room and I kept hearing one cry. Finally about 20 minutes later I went in to see what was wrong and it was laying there by itself crying for its momma. I found her later in another location of the room nursing the rest of the kittens. I realized that she'd moved the kittens, but the kitten had been crying for almost a half hour, and when I found her it didn't seem like she was too concerned that it was over there crying. I brought the kitten over and placed it in the litter with the rest and pet Yoru (the mother cat). The little one immediately began nursing. I went back into the living room, but a couple minutes later I heard it start crying again. I walked into the room to find it was laying on the floor by itself. I picked it back up and placed it in with the litter. About 10 minutes later Yoru came out and sat on the couch with me. I'm not sure whats going on here. When China had her litter, she was with them all the time and took care of them. It seems Yoru only goes in there to nurse them and then most the time she's left them alone. And now she seems to not like this one kitten. Does anyone have any idea what could be going on here? Could it be she's just not maternal? Like I said, she's really young. I'm not sure how old she is, I took her in after my sister found her under a dumpster. Ideas are greatly appreciated. :)

I think sometimes they sense something wrong and don't want to waste milk on them. Or sometimes the individual baby nurses in a way that hurts. It could be that when the cat moved the litter she got distracted by the four crying and just stayed with them. It could be that the one has a sensory problem and wanders off. I would keep putting the baby back and try to get the mom to feed her - she might eventually give it up. Today we had one kitten of a litter of 6, about 2 weeks old, fall down a 5 foot deep hole. I couldn't reach her , and to get her mother to go down after her, we had to take the rest of the kittens away so she couldn't hear or find them. When they were gone, she could attend to the baby in the hole and she went right down after her. My daughter, who plays with the kittens frequently said she was not surprised that this particular kitten wandered off and fell down the hole.

I think my boyfriend tried hurting my pet bird
I think my boyfriend tried hurting my pet bird?
My boyfriend is from China. He has been abusive to me, and I am finally leaving him after 2 yrs of dating. anyways, a few months ago I found an injured and dying pigeon on the street while I was feeding the pigeons. I took the little fella home, but when I took her to the vet after nursing her back to health to have her leg and wing fixed, the vet said she was too domesticated to survive in the wild...so she is my pet. She spends most of her time outside of her cage hanging out and playing while I study. Anyways, there is this one toy I bought for her that she adored...it was a mirror that if she hit it with her beak it would spin. She only had it a couple weeks and it was in perfect condition...but then I came home one day and my pigeon was hiding in the back of her cage and the mirror was broken. I asked my boyfriend if he broke it since it was really strong...so I don't think my pigeon could have. He said, "No." A few days later he admitted that he broke the toy. I asked him how and he said that he must have "knocked it" and it "fell over." His friend came to visit us and when I mentioned my pet pigeon he was like, "I would never leave an animal with Zhang." and then my boyfriend was like, "haha because I'm mean to animals." I've never met an animal that likes him...and my pigeon hates him. Do you think he was trying to hurt my pet bird??? He liked to talk about how in China (Southern China) it is a delicacy to eat a monkey's brains alive while it is screaming in pain, eat fish while they are still breathing, and at his school they would catch stray dogs and beat them to death and eat them. I even just read about them slowly cooking cats alive just because. Anywho, the guy is a sick f*ck...I am currently finding a place to move into... Thank you in advance! :) im just curious because I never had a pet bird before, so Im not sure if maybe they do break easily from just knocking into them. i dont think he would try eating my bird. He has been in the states for over 10 yrs and knows better. I think he just doesn't see animals as having feelings and thinks it is funny to abuse them. I just have never caught him abuse an animal before.

As hard as it is to imagine someone eating animals and beating them, it is true. They seem sick to us but in China that is what they eat. Most people from China aren't like this- your ex boyfriend is just mentally ill. In China, yes, things we don't eat are eaten. We eat cows here and chickens, but do we laugh if we see them being tortured? Heck no! The Chinese are the same way. So it's not the culture- it's him. He's really sick in the head to be saying things like that! How disturbing. I'm sure he's hurt, if not severely frightened, your pet. He probably got annoyed due to the sound the bird's play was making and broke the toy. Bird toys do not break easy or the birds could get hurt on them. Bird toys are made to be durable. Your ex could have tried to hurt, or hurt, the pigeon as well. If he's willing to hurt you, there's no reason he wouldn't be willing to hurt a bird as well- it can't fight back, can't call the police, etc. So yes, the possibility he's hurt your pet is high. I hope you and your pet are able to get away from this nutjob safely. :(

So Bush declares war on the middle east. So we go to war and we mess up their tajs. We messt up a country that been in it ways doing things for civilizations and civilizations. The way they eat, dress, look, all of that is based on their religion. Their whole day revolves around praying at noon. Their whole day revolves around eating certain foods. Their whole day revolves around wearing certain clothes. When they fast to pray for their God they wont even drink their spit. They get up and spit in the sink. Now, just because one group of people who live all over the world. Bush says I want to find them.Next thing you know we are at war. We knocked down their Tajs. We Americanized and took over a country that's older than us. The people who lived their whole life there, and the way their ancestors did is now destroyed. Their never going to be peace their now. You cant change a country culture that's been their since Jesus was born. It is a hornets nest that will never sleep. Why is everyone blaming the government shutting down on Obama? FIRST, off Obama did not shut it down congress did which is mostly republicans. The republicans do not want to give money to women who get cancer scans. They say these scans saved million peoples lives who had cancer. They are saying it is about abortions the clinics offer abortions but they still have to pay for the abortions. The clinic that gives feel visits of the gynecologist well not pay for abortions but they do offer it there. They do pay for birth control pills, and pap smears. This saves lives and the birth control helps save the country money. I think a ten dollar pills are way cheaper than the government paying for a kid till he is 18 years old. THEY DONT EVEN PAY FOR ABORTIONS AT THE CLINICS. I work in health care. I just wish everyone could see, if you cut this program the pregnancy rates will go up. So many people in poor areas need to be educated in health care. The planning parents helps teach and educate them. It also, helps them learn about diseases how they are spread. It gives care to women who have cancer. A young teen girl sometimes can not afford insurance. If she gets cancer is it fair that she does not have the chance to live? All because she was born into a poor family.

All they do is abortions and it's PROVED! If democrats were so worried about the government shutting down mammograms to test for breast cancer, why did they tell us that women get tested too often? But wait, they have the answer....OBAMA CARE!! Now all the sudden when the government is ready to shutdown they actually care that women want to get tested for cancer.
